On a beautiful day in April, Chrissy and Jeremy said their “I do”. Since the reception immediately followed the wedding, we had to shoot the creatives beforehand. And since we were shooting creatives first, Chrissy and Jeremy chose to do a First Look. Something I absolutely love! I mean, how can you not love capturing these kinds of expressions?
She’s so happy to see him, and he’s just captivated by her beauty. I LOVE IT!
So off we went to visit all the sites in downtown STL. But before we hit the city, we stopped to visit Jeremy’s grandmother. She is elderly and was not going to be able to attend the wedding. He made his mama so happy with the stop and we love getting to capture these special moments!
These two had such an awesome wedding party! They were super willing to pose however we asked and they were very clearly there to support these two awesome people on their big day.
We have a love-hate relationship with downtown STL in our house. We love photographing down there because, come on, the arch, the river, the beauty that is St. Louis….It’s our city! But it’s always such a challenge to get something different and unique for our couples. We were headed back to the car and Ron spotted this location and we knew we had to use it! I think it came out perfect (thanks Jeremy for kneeling on the cobblestone ;) )
The wedding was beautiful and the reception was one of the best yet! Let’s start with first dance pics. I’m a fan of the kissies during the first dance, wait….who am I kidding? I’m a fan of the kissies all the time! So enjoy this…..
And the father-daughter/mother-son dances were super sweet too :) It’s hard to not get the warm fuzzies when you see these.
When I tell you that from this point on the dance floor was packed, I’m totally not kidding….this is what it looked like ALL.NIGHT.LONG. Thanks to an awesome DJ and great wedding guests!
Last but not least we’ll give you a shot of the rings. At the brides request, we recreated an image she found on pinterest….
It was a spectacular day for a spectacular couple! Best wishes for the years to come!
